Why me?

What makes me worth your time?

Being in the photography business has been an amazing journey and a great accomplishment for me. I believe that the people I meet are the best clients anyone could wish for. I am a Full Service Photographer and what that means is I take the time to provide you with the best service and needs for your family's heritage and future. For the most part, my clients schedule a consultation, book an appointment for there session, schedule a reveal, look at the images and then make a purchase according to the price list I provide, and they go home a happy camper. Occasionally, a new client will express concerns about what they perceive to be the high cost of professional photography in general, and they wonder if it is really worth it.

But before I get to that, I’m not going to mention things like rent, insurance, licensing fees, business taxes, equipment cost, software upgrades, photo lab costs, assistants, shipping fees, travel costs, equipment upgrades, editing and retouching fees, ongoing education, and advertising costs.

No, I wouldn’t resort to that!

This is what we are told, what the word ‘WORTH” means: Good or important enough to justify, having a value of, or equal in value to, as in money.

Who gets to determine that? Now ask yourself, why is Connie worth it?

I’ll tell you why!

I’m worth it because of the way I make you feel when you first see your images. That emotion is real. You can feel it. You can see it.  My passion for the art goes way beyond anyone’s bank account.  Try to image what the world would look like through history if there were no images, if all the books we read were only text. Sure, there’s novels out there with no images but how do you explain the beauty of someone’s eyes, without seeing them, a mother caressing her child’s face with complete amazement. Yes, our brain gathers information and it puts together what we think it would look like.

What if I handed you a photo of the last Christmas you had with your grandparents? Is it worth feeling that emotion? A photograph of your first child being born or maybe even a photograph of a loved one after they’ve been in a horrific car accident. What do you look at when you want to remember someone, and what is the first thing you grab when there’s a natural disaster?

So, ask yourself again why I am worth it.

I give you the ability to stop time and travel anywhere you want to go through your images, I give you something that is real, I remind you of what love feels like, pain, happiness, the good and the bad. I give you life, and to me your life is worth my time, your memories are worth the happiness your children will feel when your long gone. I remind you every day that having that portrait of you was worth it.

Without photographs we have nothing.........
